Requalification works have begun on the Binasco Viaduct along the A7 Motorway!
The project, partially funded by the European CEF (Connecting Europe Facility), aims to increase the load-bearing capacity of the structure, which lies on the TEN-T North Sea – Rhine – Mediterranean corridor. This will enable it to accommodate exceptional transports and, more generally, particularly heavy vehicles.
The works are managed by Milano Serravalle Engineering and will be carried out without ever reducing the number of motorway lanes open to traffic. The activities include the complete replacement of the deck and the reinforcement of the piers and abutments.
Milano Serravalle Engineering is also providing technical assistance for the CEF MIRA A7 project, which secured co-financing for the Concessionaire Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali S.p.A.
