The redevelopment and enhancement work on the Binasco viaduct, located on the A7 motorway, continues. This infrastructure is managed by Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali S.p.A.
The project, partially funded by the CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Program of the European Commission, through the MIRA A7 project, aims to increase the load-bearing capacity of the structure, allowing for the safe passage of exceptional transports.
The works are overseen by Milano Serravalle Engineering S.r.l., which also handles the safety management of the construction site. They involve the gradual demolition of the decks built in the 1960s and 1990s, with complete replacement. The interventions are scheduled to ensure continuous traffic flow, with any lane reductions limited to the most sensitive operational phases.
