The 4th National Board of the Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali hosted the SCALE project, co-funded by the European CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) programme and aimed at developing Smart Roads and cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) in Europe. Among the various items on the agenda, the meeting provided updates on the planned activities.
A project in which Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali S.p.A. is also participating, committed to introducing communication technologies between infrastructure and vehicles on a section of the A7 motorway and on the A50 Western Ring Road of Milan. Milano Serravalle Engineering S.r.l. has been appointed by the Concessionaire to provide technical support in managing the project.
The event was attended by all partners involved and represented an opportunity to exchange views on the technological solutions developed by motorway concessionaires and cities. The common goal is to ensure safer, more sustainable mobility and real-time information for users.
